Vehicle Plainly is an independent informational publisher. It provides used-car research guides, not vehicle reports, official database access, owner lookup, or private registration access.

This policy applies to the Vehicle Plainly website. It does not control the privacy practices of third-party sites, official agencies, report providers, or partner lookup providers.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message content, and any URLs you include.

The site does not currently describe user accounts or a newsletter signup. If those features are added later, this policy should be updated before they are used.

Vehicle Plainly does not operate an official lookup database and does not use those forms to identify vehicle owners, access DMV databases, access NMVTIS directly, or guarantee complete vehicle history.

Vehicle Plainly does not currently store submitted VIN or plate values in a site-owned user account or lookup database. The partner provider may process, store, price, and display results according to its own terms and privacy policy.

We use contact emails to respond when appropriate, track corrections, review disclosure questions, and improve editorial quality. Do not use contact email for owner-identification requests or non-public record requests.

Our guides may reference external sites such as NHTSA, NMVTIS-related educational pages, state agencies, or commercial providers. Their privacy practices are governed by those sites.

Server logs and email records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, compliance, and editorial follow-up.

Partner lookup providers control their own retention for information submitted to them.

You may use browser controls to limit cookies where applicable. You may choose not to email us or not to submit partner lookup forms.
